What my clients say
Gina Elliott Equine Massage Therapist

"As an Equine Massage Therapist, it is always a pleasure to treat the horses at Sarah Aldermans Dressage, Shaffold House Stables in Chidwickbury. The yard is amazingly beautiful with excellent facilities, it has a wonderful team providing a calming and welcoming atmosphere. Each horse’s individual athletic needs are taken into consideration, with their regular maintenance therapy treatments. Exquisite care and attention to detail are of the utmost priority when it comes to their horses, offering a professional and knowledgeable 5-star dressage rider and livery service."

Sandie Robertson Owner, Elite Equestrian Coaches

“Sarah is the loveliest and warmest professional I’ve ever worked with, I felt instantly comfortable in training was so insightful. Of paramount importance, has been the empathy and bond that Sarah has with each horse. This enables the horse to be trained and educated as an individual, gaining the most from their ability, producing optimal performance, whilst always putting the horse first.”

Sue Freeth

"I have known Sarah since 2006 during which time I have owned and bred horses for competition. Having struggled to find a sympathetic, knowledgeable trainer able to take a horse up through the levels, I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been introduced to Sarah. Her knowledge, passion, understanding and high level of experience has been a valuable and essential part in the development and training of all our horses. From breaking, progressing through all levels up to Grand Prix and competing them from novice to Inter 1."

Amy Hulbert

"I was fortunate enough to be guided by Sarah’s expertise for over a year. In that time, I learnt a great deal about my position and technique as a rider but also about the formation, attitude, and capabilities of my horse. As a young rider with not a lot of experience, Sarah provided me with the tool kit to get the best out of my horse and to handle a variety of situations on an unpredictable mare. I absolutely rate Sarah highly for her passion, commitment, professionalism, and talent. Thank you for all your help Sarah!"

Lucy Storer

"I have first- hand experience of Sarah’s coaching and mentoring talent/skills. Sarah has being coaching Amelia, my daughter for the past few years. Her ability to interpret and incorporate riding technique delivered with support and enthusiasm have given my daughter inspiration, confidence and a great skill set to enable her to accomplish, progress and compete. She always wants to achieve and go that “extra mile” to make both horse and owner happy. Put simply Sarah is caring, compassionate and a highly skilled equestrian. I would not hesitate in recommending her to the owner of a horse at any level."

Lilly Vine

"Sarah has really helped me when I got my new young horse, who was very green on the flat; recommended to me from a friend ,she helped me when other instructors had given up failing to understand him.As a result after only a couple of months I saw huge improvement with him and our relationship as I learnt to understand him better thanks to Sarah’s lessons."

Karen Eves

"Sarah has ridden a few of my horses over the years and I would recommend her services to anyone who wishes to improve their horses way of going. Sarah has always been prompt, professional and has a sympathetic connection with the horses. I have found great improvements through consistently having Sarah ride my horses; within my own riding by her communication & talking me through her processes and also always in my horses ways of going."
